WALL (a.k.a 1001 New York Nights)

Ever wondered about what you would do if you found a dead body lying at your
apartment door? Inspired by 1001 nights stories, this play reflects on the
state of society after September 11. A world of fear, suspicion, surveillance
and paranoia goes on in a NYC tenement building between two neighborhood
couples. WALL ( a.k.a 1001 New York Nights) is a dark comedy written and
directed by Handan Ozbilgin and produced by Umut Egitimci. It was performed
in New York City Kraine Theater in 2004 and made its Istanbul debut at the
15th International Theater Festival (www.iksv.org ) in 2006.

I, Anatolia (original title: BEN ANADOLU)

The play titled 'Ben Anadolu' by Gungor Dilmen, chronicling the history of
Anatolia from women's perspective, was performed at NYC Fazil Studios in English.
Talat Halman translated the play into English as 'I, Anatolia'. Four young
Turkish artists, Handan Ozbilgin, Kaan Nazli, Gulcin Hatihan and Umut Egitimci,
all living in New York, put the play on stage, in which a historical journey is
